Ekaterina Voronova-Lindeman

Line by line

Born in 1992 in Transnistria. She has lived in Kaliningrad since 2017.

Drawing began as a hobby, but gradually became a means of self-expression for Ekaterina, and a way to slow down in a world that never stops changing. Working on an illustration becomes an almost meditative process: hour by hour, line by line, an image takes shape.

Her visual language has been influenced by Art Nouveau and the art of engraving, with their attention to ornament, silhouette and the smallest details. Women remain central to her work: outward beauty becomes a starting point for exploring emotions, relationships, social roles and ideas of what is beautiful.
