In the artist’s words
This work marked the beginning of my fascination with drawing in lines.
It was inspired by the spring collection Goddess Energy and Celestial Grandeur by Zuhair Murad. The catalogue photographs focused on the dresses, leaving the model’s face outside the frame.
I wanted to imagine the goddess to whom this dress might belong.
